Office Depot Inc. has promoted Richard Haas to senior VP and chief accounting officer after the executive previously in the role resigned suddenly. Michael S. Rashes, a principal at Boston-based hedge fund Bracebridge Capital, and wife Dena E. Rashes, paid $10.5 million for an oceanfront mansion in Gulf Stream. Francine N.
